Buying a Designer Handbag Can Save Money

I know you might read the title and think yeah right! But let’s think about a few facts. If you buy a $300 Coach handbag and use it for 3 years, you then decide you are ready for a different handbag. So you sell your used handbag, which will still be in great condition for $75 on eBay. Your designer handbag only cost you $75 a year. You figure in the fact that most handbags cost at least $50. If you buy a cheaper handbag you will have to replace it at least once a year if not more. If you use these facts the designer purse was roughly the same price as a cheaper handbag, which needs to be replaced more frequently. For some items, I am a big believer in buying quality for first time around instead of getting the cheaper item that will need to be replaced sooner. Another example of this would be cheaper sweaters. How many times have you bought a cheaper sweater only to find out that within a few washes it did not keep its shape or it has those fuzzy all over it. So frustrating! So for styles that are timeless, I recommend spending more money upfront and in the end it will actually save you money. Buy a designer handbag and enjoy the quality handbag, as well as, the long-term savings to your pocketbook.
